Less Than a Month to Go!

Map of our journey to Hirosaki!

Map of our journey to Hirosaki!

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well! The rest of the team and I are mid-way through the exam season, so we've been busy getting awesome grades. But I do have an update about the team, besides exams; We've got our plane tickets purchased!!
It's so amazing, and it's made it feel so real to have the actual seats booked. We're going to be flying from Toronto to Tokyo, where we land in Narita airport, take a shuttle bus over to Haneda airport, catch a flight up to Aomori, where we'll get a train to Hirosaki. At Hirosaki, the Ghents will pick us up at the train station and our mission will truly begin.
I've included a map above that shows how we're going to be traveling, minus the bus ride. Might've been a bit too small on the map, haha.
It should also be noted that this journey begins on May 10th. This means less than a month to go until we're literally on the plane to go.
I want to invite you to join us in prayer for the funds to come in. One of the things that I have to consistently remind myself of is that if this is meant to be in God's will, it will happen. Also, if you feel called to donate in a monetary way, it would be beyond appreciated.
If aren't interested in donating, I also have a few items for sale that all the proceeds go to this fundraiser. This includes earrings, paper crane mobiles, prints of Japan taken two years ago by yours truly, and I'm even open for commissions on paintings. Everything is based on what you want to pay for the artwork, within reason. If you're curious about anything I've listed, don't hesitate to message me here or on Facebook, I'd be more than happy to answer any and all questions.
I also want to thank everyone who has already donated or purchased something, because, without you, we wouldn't have our tickets booked. I'm also just so beyond grateful for everyone who reads this blog, prays, and/or donates.
This isn't just me going on a missions trip, this is the body of Christ coming together to further His kingdom. I want everyone to know that this missions trip isn't my mission, it's God's mission, our mission. You are a part of this, and there are no small parts.
Thank you for reading this blog, continue to pray for us as our time before departure winds down.
